South Carolina Offshore Wind Supply Chain Study
The South Carolina Department of Commerce has published our final report for the "South Carolina Offshore Wind Supply Chain Study." We conducted this work in association with the Clemson University Regional Economic Analysis Laboratory.
The report assesses South Carolina's existing manufacturing supply chain landscape and port infrastructure, identifies the best offshore wind manufacturing opportunities for South Carolina, estimates the economic impact of various investment scenarios, and presents recommendations for how the State can develop the existing chain and attract Tier 1 suppliers.
